Helping leaders build purpose-led businesses

Charles Wookey Associates is an independent firm that helps business leaders to navigate the journey of creating a purpose-led organisation, in a high trust, fun and curious environment.

“A purpose-led organisation is one that commits to a shared purpose beyond profit, putting the good of people and the planet at the heart of business success. The business sees itself as a social organisation respecting human dignity and contributing to the wider common good,  and thereby delivering long term sustainable performance.”

 Our services include:

Vision to be Purpose-Led?

Many businesses are struggling to become truly purpose-led. Are you:

  • Struggling to attract and retain the best of the rising generation?
  • Not able to retain and secure as many loyal customers and suppliers as you would like?
  • Having difficulty setting and achieving objectives beyond simply making money?
  • Unsure what your efforts have achieved so far?
  • Unsure what ‘doing well’ really means for you?
  • Overusing the words “sustainability”, “ESG” and “purpose” without truly living by them?

If one or all of the above apply to you, we may be able to help.

Alongside the excellent resources created by the charity A Blueprint for Better Business,  we bring experience of helping businesses evolve. And we have other resources that you may find useful –  including a Podcast Series in 2023.

How We Work

Our consulting work is focussed on helping CEOs and leadership teams:

  • Explore and test your assumptions and beliefs
  • Develop a shared understanding of what becoming “purpose-led” might mean in practice for your business.

We’ll also help you create the conditions to work out what business barriers and opportunities it presents, in particular the integration of social and environmental outcomes.

The work is foundational and often leads to new brand and strategy developments, as well as a renewed emphasis on the importance of human centred internal cultures.
